Curt

You remind me of somebody always
Finding new reasons to go back

To work on problems few
Besides you knew
Or actually

Understood
Shaping tipping
Points into new ways

Free of those old hostilities
Keeping necessities away from fools

It is about Time

The Philadelphia Experiment Was Real
Sailors did return fused with super structures

And even left evidence of their existence deep in time
Before those three Jewish boys altered everybody’s history

Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego crawled out of the deep tunnel
After having been made invisible yesterday by the Third Reich

Who revolutionized Nebuchadnezzar’s bookkeeping system
Installing themselves integral parts of advanced society

Those three boys grew up revolutionizing powers
Streamlining the advent of their genetic seed

Hitler immediately recognized an error
And had all but the field marshal

Who oversaw the experiment
Killed to keep it all quite

Edith's Boy

In the first grade I stood up
Turned around and said
I went for a ride in a
Flying saucer last
Night and then
My brain quit

I sat down
Stunned

I’d caught a glimpse
Of my feet passing through
The closed window of my bedroom
That day at lunch I ate Lima beans and puked

Strike Three

My auger slowly turns
Into the blackness
And I’m alone

Near death’s door
I am boring

Into the zero mother of
Ten thousand things
Through her hole

My head comes out and I
See the Promised Land

Everyday

Thy star gets larger
Your knotted string shorter

Thy strings a rosary
Moving easily over fingers
Each and every bump another prayer

Thy fate’s sealed on your lips
Moving easily from your body across
The universe to the surface of your event horizon
Where each quantum state of every free atom remains intact forever

Thy immortality certainly assured
Simply by the structures inherent in reality
Helping life adjust to each and every energy bearing
Molecule that exists in this symphony of mass and energy today
Where what we were suddenly seems so insignificant to what we have become

Somehow

It seems that DNA has been shadowing
Every adjustment made in life to
Environments encountered

Along your vast trips
Here into the ripe
Old Milky Way

Linda Lou Allen

What does being alive actually mean to you
Counting backwards down from the sky
She asks him in fields of deep purple
Where have all the shadows gone
Standing here naked with me

Enchanted my eyes looked deeply into hers
And there found chocolate brown with
Thin green rings all around she was
The most beautiful woman in the
World so I married her lovely

Here I am now fifty-eight and still very happy
Learned to love without any expectations
Getting along with her on a wonderful
Ride across the globe we saw it all
Unfold as two birds in paradise

God?

Can we survive our success
Long enough to achieve a
Functioning immortality

Long enough to learn praises
Worthy of your attention
Words worth knowing

Still just naked apes we scrape
Piss and crap on ourselves
With books on shelves

We stand speaking by fireplaces
To those huddled masses of
Scared and bewildered

Humans who do not understand
Whose lands and materials
Anticipate ownership

Standing there looking down river
The mist lifts and we see deep
A throne where He sleeps
