If DNA’s a natural consequence of existence
Then what are we but pieces of meat floating
In another thick stew of its steadfast unfolding
Life like humanity does not have to reinvent the wheel
Everything necessary for our survival and well being
Was hardwired in our genes ready to be reinstalled
Existence is all related to time along with waves of gravity
Washing over the forsaken shores of every odd Sunday
Creatures like me stood on street corners preaching
Few people listened because messages are dangerous
Like rebel’s with printing presses floating down rivers
Where we landed nobody knew until our words exploded
