Whales

Whales

You know big whales act just like our Federal Reserve and their big investment bankers. They get together and blow a few bubbles scaring all the little fish into stampeding into a big ball, and then, after the ball is well organized, they come up from below and just swallow everybody taking all their shit away.

Clown

Seeing things for what they are
Against the azure skies
Of indifference

Bench marks tipping points
When we first touched
The red hot irons
Branding hide
We knew

French kissing an ass hole she exclaimed
What a perverted turd you really are
Turning into this beloved prince
Right before my big surprise

Philanthropy

The single most misguided
Object of human attention was
Throwing money at their painted faces

Bloated bellowing elephants
Struggle to stay aloft

Suddenly our dying time arrives
Having grown too large we
Suddenly found ourself
Another big Target

Out-sourced jobs followed by
Ruination after suppliers
Began slipping in lead
Causing infertility
To rot our heads

Ducky

Sometimes in summer when it’s really hot down Canal Street
They open up some steel shutters along the sidewalk
And people can see long rows of dead ducks
Hung up head down by yellow feet
There against the dank
Concrete walls

Now couldn't this be the secret to all that great Peking duck stuff
Half rotten and infused by essence of cockroach dung
All presumably sterilized by the fires cooking
It golden brown and delicious I think

Skinner

My God I hadn’t seen you in near forty years
Of course I didn’t immediately recognize you
But later after relaxing I recognized the gait
Palms turned backwards and slightly bent
Forward in the plodding Big Foot manner

More solid and wondering if you used steroids
Your back was thickly muscled and surprising
You weighed more than I but without a belly
I could feel physical powers and no wonder
You had made and lost the fortune of love

Bill Skinner was a robust youth who got pussy way
Before the rest of us went to
California for to get
Enlightenment and that really cool mental jazz
Just plodding along Bill listened to absolutely
Nobody but the one he kept right up inside

Rowland

When I was young I knew this guy
Who wanted me to die
Unpleasantly

At the big party he pulled my pants
Down to my knees where my
Little turtle head winked

Later I maneuvered him in front of a
Hornet’s nest and threw a stick
Igniting their ire at Jeffery

We stalked each other under the bridge
On catwalks and I beams we
Taunted each other

Dueling eighty feet above the Clinch River
Our goal was to see one another fall
We survived strangely enough

Now we visit each other sharing stories
Of life lived and agonized over at Jenkin’s
B Day’s then games of Risk at G Seamen's
