I played varsity football on scholarship at Jacksonville State University, 1969-70, the year Jax State won the national championship under Charlie Pell. Later I graduated cum laude, in molecular biology, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1973. I went on to become a popular poet at ABC NOREO off Remsen street in the East Village of New York City. I was the first person to scientifically identify a nomadic central Asian weaving made before the 18th century. I once had a flourishing business in Brooklyn, NY, but now I have retired down south to pleasant Chattanooga, Tennessee. My favorite poet is W.S. Merwin and I recommend his books to everybody. I sell high quality textiles online from my website. It doesn't cost anything to look at the art work.
